National Ice Cream Day-Sunday July 17

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! What better day to shout this mantra than today—it’s National Ice Cream Day.?

In 1984, President Ronald Reagan designated July as National Ice Cream Month. Additionally, he declared that the third Sunday in July would be National Ice Cream Day.

2 New Movie Releases Friday

Winnie the Pooh - parent movie review

Online Storytime at Barnes & Noble

Barnes and Noble has a different online storytime each month where a children's book is read by authors and celebrities.  This month's book is Splish, Splash, Splat! by Rob Scotton.  It is read by Molly Ringwald.

You can also go back to prior months and listen and read those books as well.  A couple of months ago was a new book that I really like - Charlie the Ranch Dog by Ree Drummond (the Pioneer Woman).  Cute, cute!
