YMCA Basketball

Registration at the YMCA is October 3 - November 13, $10 late fee added after 11/13 for Pre-School Basketball 10/3 –10/23; $10 late fee added after 10/23 for Youth Basketball.

Time: Saturdays from 9:00 am - 10:00 am

Time: Coach will contact you prior to first practice

• Youth Basketball Evaluations:
  · They will be held in the gym at the Y
  · Returning players from the 2010-11 season who do not age up to another age division do not need to attend evaluations
  · New players and returning players aging up to another age division need to attend evaluations
  · Tuesday, October 25
  o 5-6 year olds from 5:30-6:30 pm
  o 7-8 year olds from 6:30-7:30 pm
  · Thursday, October 27
  o 9-10 year olds from 5:30-6:30 pm
  o 11-12 year olds from 6:30-7:30 pm
  Team Selection Process:
  After the evaluations, the sports director will split up the teams based on experience/ability, age, gender, & the following guidelines.
  · Head Coach’s child will be placed on his/her team. Assist. Coach’s child is not guaranteed to be placed on his/her team.
  · Siblings in the same age group will be placed on the same team.
  · Players returning from the previous season that did not age up to another age group will be placed on the same team.
  · No requests will be accepted other than times and days you cannot practice.
  · Every effort will be made to balance the teams as equally and fairly as possible.
